Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced its candidates for 19 seats in Sylhet division. The party's Assistant Secretary General and Sylhet Regional Director Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair announced the names of the candidates in an online rally.
The party's Sylhet Division Assistant Secretary General and Sylhet Regional Director Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair said on Friday (February 7), "The names of the candidates for four constituencies in Moulvibazar district were announced at this rally held at 9 pm on Thursday (February 6).
Candidates from Moulvibazar district:-
1) Moulvibazar-1 (Bardekha and Juri): Maulana Aminul Islam (Zilla Majlis Shura and Working Committee Member).
2) Moulvibazar-2 (Kulaura): Engineer Md. Shahed Ali (District Ameer and Shura member of the Central Majlis).
3) Moulvibazar-3 (Rajnagar and Sadar) Md. Abdul Mannan (Former District Ameer, Central Majlish-e-Shura and Sylhet Regional Team Member).
4) Moulvibazar-4 (Srimangal and Kamalganj):- Advocate Md. Abdur Rob (Assistant Secretary of Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat and former Central Executive Council Member of Chhatra Shibir).
In addition, the party has also finalized candidates for other seats in Sylhet division.
