The body of an unidentified woman with her throat slit has been recovered from a seedling field in Bora Badnapara (Purbapara) village of Ward No. 7 of Chatra Union in Pirganj Upazila of Rangpur.
On Friday (February 7) at around 7 am, local housewife Roshanyara (45) went to pick chillies from a chilli field when she found the body of the woman lying in a nearby seem field. The body is estimated to be 35 years old.
When he screamed in fear, people in the area came and informed the Pirganj police. However, locals said that the identity of the deceased has not been identified yet.
Police have arrived at the scene and begun an investigation. Law enforcement is working to determine how and why the murder occurred.
