In Brahmanpara, Comilla, a farewell reception was given to Social Service Officer Kabir Ahmed, AGM of Palli Bidyut Azharul Islam Abir, and a welcome was given to Fisheries Officer Ragib Hasan and Agricultural Extension Officer Mokhlesur Rahman. The farewell and welcome ceremony was organized at the meeting room of the Upazila Dak Bungalow on Wednesday (February 6) night under the initiative of the Upazila Officers Club.
It is known that at the event, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Kabir Ahmed retired from service and AGM of Brahmanpara Rural Power Zonal Office Azharul Islam Abir was transferred to the headquarters of Comilla Rural Power Limited-2, and the Officers Club formally bid them farewell by presenting them with floral greetings and a crest of honor.
In addition, the Officers' Club formally welcomed Md. Ragib Hasan, Upazila Fisheries Officer, and Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer, as they joined the office.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) and Upazila Officers Club President Mahmuda Jahan presided over the program. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syed Farhana Pritha was the special guest.
Apart from this, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Masud Rana, Upazila Engineer Abdur Rahim, Family Planning Officer Abdur Razzak, Project Implementation Officer Kamal Uddin, Primary Education Officer Syeda Halima Parveen, Women's Affairs Officer Lutfa Yasmin, Public Health Engineer Md. Zahid Hasan and other members of the Officers' Club were present.
The speakers at the event briefly discussed the memories of the outgoing officers and wished them continued success. They also hoped that the newly-joined officers would play a leading role in fulfilling their responsibilities and providing services.
