At the monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee in Satkhira, speakers proposed a joint campaign against drugs by the police, RAB, BGB, army, district administration, political leaders and student representatives. In addition, the speakers mentioned various important issues in the district, including repairing dirt roads in the border areas of Satkhira, installing lighting and CCTV cameras, closing unregistered private clinics, improving the quality of medical services, constructing a separate bypass road from Binerpota to Suparighata to resolve traffic congestion in the city, taking necessary measures to resolve waterlogging, continuing the dredging system to make the Betna River dynamic, and making the police more active to maintain the law and order situation in the district.

Satkhira Additional District Magistrate Ripon Biswas moderated the monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee. The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police (Promoted Superintendent of Police) Aminur Rahman, Commanding Officer of 37 Bir Cantonment Major Mushfiq Ahmed, Deputy Director of Local Government Department Masruba Ferdous, Convener of the new committee of the district BNP Md. Rahmatullah Palash, Member Secretary Abu Zahid Dablu, District Jamaat Ameer Professor Shahidul Islam, Principal of Satkhira Government College Professor Md. Abul Hashem, District Education Officer Md. Abul Khair, seven Upazila Nirbahi Officers of the district, District Public Prosecutor Md. Abdur Sattar, NSI, DGFI officials, representatives of RAB, BGB, besides officials and employees of all government and private offices of the district including Naval Police, Coast Guard, Ansar Battalion, journalists from print and electronic media were present.
