In his speech as the chief guest, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail said, "At the beginning, I would like to remember those who were martyred in the July Revolution. May Allah grant them heaven. We pray that those who are still injured in various places will recover quickly and return to us. In this revolution of 24, we lost a great generation, and our theme today should be that we all use the opportunity to build a new Bangladesh in return. Journalism on campus has always been a big challenge. Especially in the last sixteen or seventeen years, whenever any news about corruption, recruitment irregularities, or terrorist activities was broadcast, every journalist had to be oppressed, harassed, and beaten for various reasons. Our journalist friends of Nobiprabi, our beloved students, were not left out of this. Many have been persecuted in many ways.
The main discussant was the Senior Assistant Press Secretary to the Honorable Chief Advisor, Mr. Faiz Ahmed, who said, "When everyone's desire is unified, that is the July Revolution. Your main job is to hold the organization you will be a journalist accountable. You can do many great things as a by-product through journalism. Journalists may not have been able to do journalism the way they thought of doing it for the last sixteen years. Honorable Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, enjoy journalism during this interim period. No one will hold you by the throat for journalism at this time."
The seminar was chaired by NobiProbi Press Club President Mr. Azharul Mizan, and was also addressed by NobiProbi Press Club Advisor Dr. Md. Abdul Qayyum Masud and Mr. Kamaruzzaman. Also speaking was NobiProbi Press Club Founder Mr. Rahi Rahman. The seminar was moderated by NobiProbi Press Club Vice President Mr. Zahidul Islam Faruk and welcomed by NobiProbi Press Club General Secretary Md. Sumon Mia. During this time, a documentary edited by NobiProbi 15th batch student Tanvirul Islam was screened.
It is worth noting that journalists and students of the Nobi Prabi Press Club participated in the seminar.
