A two-month-long mobile training course on computer and networking was concluded and a certificate distribution ceremony was held in Brahmanpara, Comilla, under the initiative of Youth Development. The event was organized at the conference room of the Upazila Parishad Model Mosque on Thursday (February 27) afternoon with the slogan "Skilled youth will build the country, Bangladesh without discrimination".
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syed Farhana Pritha was the chief guest at the closing and certificate distribution ceremony. Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Golam Azam presided over the function.
Besides, Computer and Networking Trainer Akheruzzaman and Assistant Trainer Shimul Hossain along with various young women and men who received training were present. Besides, Md. Ruhul Amin Miyaji, Samia Sultana, among the trainees, spoke at the event.
Finally, the event concluded with the presentation of certificates and cash as travel allowances to 40 young women and men who participated in four batches of 10 each in the two-month-long computer and networking mobile training.
It is learned that the training program was organized by the Brahmanpara Upazila Youth Development Office under the project titled "Technology Empowerment Center on Wheels for Underprivileged Rural Young People of Bangladesh (TECHAB Phase 2)".
