A three-day annual festival in the month of Falgun has begun at the traditional Charmonair Maidan in Barisal.
The main activities of the mahfil began with the opening speech of Charmonair Pir Amirul Mujahedin Maulana Mufti Syed Md. Rezaul Karim after the Zohar prayers on Wednesday, 19/2/2025. Like last year, this year too, there will be a total of seven speeches in the mahfil, including the opening speech.
The final prayer of the three-day Charmonair Mahfil, the largest Islamic conference in Bangladesh, will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 8 am.
This year too, the Mahfil authorities have prepared a total of 5 fields covering more than 200 acres for the convenience of the Muslims attending the Mahfil. And there is a 100-bed hospital, sufficient number of toilets, ablution and bathing facilities to provide medical care to the sick Muslims.
Millions of devout Muslims have already arrived at the Mahfil ground by bus, launch, and yoga for this historic Islamic gathering in Charmonair. In addition, foreign devotees including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and India are also coming to Charmonair, according to the Mahfil authorities.
Every year, a bright light of Islam emerges in the entire Barisal division, centered around this historic gathering in Charmonair. The caravan of Islamic ideals awakens with new joy.
There is a large number of volunteers to ensure the mahfil is conducted in a safe and orderly environment. There is also special vigilance from law enforcement agencies including the police, RAB and others.
