In the presence of distinguished Ulama, local politicians and the administration, the turban-giving ceremony for 14 Hafizs of Konabari Markazul Quran Madrasa, adjacent to Gopalpur Gohata, Tangail, has been completed. After the turban-giving ceremony, the Hafizs were presented with hats as gifts for the fathers of the Quran.
Yesterday afternoon, at the program organized at the Madrasa Bhaban, the Madrasa's Mutawalli Md. A. Chattar presided over the ceremony, and the Principal of Tangail Jamia Islamia Darus Sunnah Madrasa, Shaikhul Hadith, Mufti Ashrafuzzaman Qashemi, conducted the turban distribution and prayers. The chief guest was the respected member of Gopalpur Upazila BNP, Alhaj Md. Maruf Talukder Rahim.
Hafez Maulana Abubakar Siddique moderated the event, and was attended by Hafez Maulana Mahfuzur Rahman, Principal of Bhuiyanpur Asaduzzaman Khan Darul Uloom Madrasa, Mufti Nur Mohammad, Nayeb Muhtamim of Jamia Nizamia Baruria Madrasa, Mufti Nazir Siddique, Imam and Khatib of Gohata Jame Mosque, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Nazmul Hasan, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Golam Muktar Ashraf Uddin, local Ulama-e-Keram, guardians and students of the madrasa.
