Bulldozers are being used to demolish 'Sheikh Bari' in Khulna. On Wednesday (February 5) night, students and the public began vandalizing the house of Sheikh Hasina's cousins located at 23 Sher-e-Bangla Road in the city by taking a stand. Later, two bulldozers were used to demolish the main gate and boundary wall of the house.
At this time, the students and the crowd started chanting slogans like 'Destroy the house of the Sheikh, destroy it', 'Burn the house of tyranny, burn it down'.
Many people gathered in front of the house at this time. Earlier, on August 4 and 5, angry students and the crowd had vandalized and set fire to Sheikh's house in several incidents.
