Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to resume the offensive in Gaza if the Palestinian independence movement Hamas does not comply with the ceasefire conditions. He has already ordered his army to adopt a combat posture in and around Gaza, so that it can resume the offensive in Gaza as soon as it receives the green light, Anadolu Agency reported.
"Hamas must abide by the terms of the ceasefire. If Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday (February 15), the ceasefire will be canceled and the Israeli army will return to intense fighting until Hamas is finally defeated," Netanyahu said in a video statement after a four-hour security cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
