The grand final match of the T20 cricket tournament organized by Purbachandra Sporting Club in Kaliakoir, Gazipur was held on Monday (December 10) at the Purbachandra Sporting Club ground in the upazila.
The program was presided over by Gazipur District BNP Youth Affairs Secretary and Municipal BNP Senior Joint Secretary Saizuddin Ahmed. Former councilor Sarwar Hossain Akul was present as the chief sponsor.
Joint District and Sessions Judge (Bangladesh Judicial Service) Md. Sultan Uddin Bhatram, former national team captain Khaled Masud Pilot, Purbachandra Sporting Club President Syed Solaiman Hossain, General Secretary Motaleb Hossain, various dignitaries of the upazila and a large number of sports-loving spectators were also present at the event.
The final match was held between the Balia Vikings of Dhaka Division and the Aasar Diants of Barisal Division. The game created a lot of excitement and enthusiasm in the entire area. The organizers hope that this tournament will further inspire sports lovers and encourage the youth to get involved in sports.
