Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Committee and one of the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement, has married.
Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan confirmed this information on Friday evening. Later, Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, also confirmed the matter.
Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud congratulated Sarjis Alam. In a post on his verified Facebook page, Asif Mahmud posted a picture and wrote, "Congratulations Sarjis Bhai on your new life."
In the photo posted by Asif Mahmud, Information and Broadcasting Advisor Nahid Islam, Advisor Fahfuz Alam, and Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, can be seen.
In the picture, Sarjis is seen wearing a white sherwani and turban. But who is the bride? It is not known. Even whether the wedding will be held in his village home or in Dhaka, nothing is known.
