Like the rest of the country, the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir was celebrated with colorful events in Nilphamari. On Thursday (January 6), at 10:30 am, a colorful rally was organized by the district branch from the Jaldhaka Central Shaheed Minar. The rally went around the main roads of the city and ended at the Jaldhaka bus stand.
After the rally, a gathering was organized at the bus stand area. It was presided over by Tajmul Hasan Sagar, Nilphamari district president of Islami Chhatra Shibir, and moderated by district secretary Rezaul Karim.
Former Central Information and Research Secretary of Chhatra Shibir Obaidullah Salafi, former Nilphamari District President Waheduzzaman Babul and Jahinur Rahman spoke as guests at the rally.
In their speeches, the leaders highlighted the history of the organization, its goals and objectives, and the role of Chhatra Shibir in the moral and mental development of students. About 3,000 current and former leaders and activists from various upazilas of the district participated in the program. (Photos available)
