The house of Awami League's advisory board member and former MP from Jhalokati 2 constituency Amir Hossain Amur was also demolished by the angry student mob.
On Thursday, 6/2/2025, around 2 am, a group of angry students demolished the building with a bulldozer.
First, around midnight, the student mob demolished the house of Sadiq Abdullah on Kalibari Road in Barisal city, and then the house of Amir Hossain Amur on Jibanananda Das Road in the city.
Eyewitnesses said that the army tried to stop the demolition of Sadiq Abdullah's house, but no obstacles were placed during the demolition of Amir Hossain Amur's house.
