Limon Mia, Sarishabari (Jamalpur) Representative
Advocate Md. Abdul Awal's name has been announced as Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated MP candidate for the upcoming National Parliament election in Jamalpur-4 (Sarishabari) constituency.
Central Majlis-e-Shura member and district ameer Maulana Abdus Sattar made the announcement at a gathering of Jamaat workers and activists at the Sarishabari Municipality premises on Saturday afternoon. He was present as the chief guest at the gathering.
The declared MP candidate, Advocate Abdul Awal, is a member of Jamaat's central Majlis-e-Shura and serving as Jamalpur district secretary. In his speech as the main speaker at the rally, he highlighted the party's ideology and future plans.
Advocate Abdul Awal is a senior lawyer by profession, who has been working in the Jamalpur District and Sessions Judge Court for a long time. Awal, who obtained the highest degree from the Islamic University, served as the president of the Kushtia district branch of the Islami Chhatra Shibir during his student life. Later, he also successfully completed various important responsibilities of the Jamaat.
