Abdur Rahim, Double Mooring (Chittagong Metropolitan City)
On Saturday, February 1, a workshop and representative meeting on 'Repairing the State Structure' presented by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman was held at the 71 Community Center of the city under the initiative of BNP in Alkaron Ward No. 31 of Chittagong city.
The meeting was presided over by former president of Alkaron Ward No. 31 BNP Didarul Rahman Lavu. Chittagong Metropolitan BNP Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
In his speech as the chief guest, Nazimur Rahman said, "Our oath is to stand by the people through 31-point reforms."
The meeting was moderated by Jasim Mia, former general secretary of Alkaran Ward No. 31 BNP.
Chittagong Metropolitan BNP joint convener Harun Zaman, Shawkat Azam Khawaja, Shihab Uddin Mobin and Metropolitan BNP member Ismail Bali spoke as special guests.
Former cottage industry secretary Abdul Nabi Prince, former hawker affairs secretary Abdul Baten, city BNP member Khorshedul Alam and former city BNP member Manjur Quader Mintu also spoke.
The program discussed in detail the BNP's strategy for implementing its 31-point manifesto, ways to increase public involvement, and better organizing the party structure.
