A huge joyous procession led by Jubo Dal joint convener Saiful Islam in Daulatpur on Sunday afternoon welcomed the newly formed convening committee of Manikganj district BNP, and a protest march was also held against the program announced by the banned Chhatra League.
The new convening committee of Manikganj district BNP was announced yesterday, February 2. A party notification signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Central Committee, announced the seven-member district BNP convening committee. The convener of the newly formed committee is Afroza Khan Rita, a member of the advisory board of the BNP chairperson and former district BNP president.
The other members of the committee are SA Jinnah Kabir, Adv. Azad Hossain Khan, Ataur Rahman Ata, Adv. AFM Nurtaz Alam Bahar, Satyen Kant Pandit Bhajan, Golam Abedin Kaiser.
Workers and supporters of Jubo Dal joint convener Saiful Islam held a joyous procession at the Daulatpur Upazila police station on Sunday afternoon, congratulating the seven members of the newly formed committee.
The procession left the Daulatpur Police Station BNP office, circled various roads, and held a short rally in front of Daulatpur Bazaar.
