In the Manipur area of Bhawalgarh union in Sadar upazila of Gazipur district, BNP leader Motaleb Haji has been accused of taking over all businesses, from fake businesses to internet businesses and garbage businesses, to expand his influence. When news was published in various newspapers under the headline of BNP leaders rushing to release the Chhatra League leader from the police station, another BNP leader Kashedam Sikder shared it on his personal Facebook. Since then, various types of torture began on him and his family members. Motaleb Haji and his sons started making various threats to Kashem Sikder in public and on mobile phones. Kashem Sikder filed a general diary with Joydebpur police station in this regard, which is No. 849. Kashem Sikder said that he shared the news of BNP leaders rushing to release the Chhatra League leader from the police station on his Facebook. Since then 1. Amir Hasan Ripon (29), father of A. Motaleb, 2. A. Motaleb (58), father deceased, Kazimuddin, 3. Sohag (25), 4. Shahjalal (38) both fathers: A. Motaleb, Kashem Sikder and Kashem Sikder's family members have been trying to harm them. A. Motaleb's people have attacked their houses at different times. Kashem Sikder's family is suffering from extreme insecurity. It is known that A. Motaleb is the local government affairs secretary of Gazipur Sadar Upazila BNP, Shahjalal is the general secretary of Ward 6 BNP and joint secretary of Bhawalgarh Union BNP, Amir Hasan Ripon is the joint convener of Bhawalgarh Union Jubo Dal, Sohag is not in any position but is the leader of an affiliated organization of BNP. And the victim Kashem Sikder is the co-general secretary of Ward 6 BNP. Currently, Kashem Sikder said that his family is suffering from extreme insecurity.
When contacted by A. Motaleb on his mobile phone to inquire about this, he said, "You took the trouble to come to Manipur and investigate on the spot. It is not known why Kashem Sikder is making such allegations." When asked if any threats were made by A. Motaleb, he said, "No threats were made."
When contacted on mobile phone, Joydebpur Police Station Inspector OC Mohammad Abdul Halim said he would inform them about the matter, but did not contact them later.
