The Nalchiti Upazila administration has provided financial assistance to Asma Akhtar, a talented student of Nalchiti Girls School and College in Jhalokati.
On Wednesday (January 5) afternoon, Upazila Nirbharhi Officer Md. Nazrul Islam handed over a grant to Asma on behalf of the upazila administration for admission to a medical college in the office of the Upazila Nirbharhi Officer.
Present at the event were Nalchiti Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nusrat Jahan, Nalchiti Girls School and College Assistant Teacher Milan Kanti Das. Student Asma sought blessings from everyone and expressed gratitude for the donation. She said that she would become a doctor and stand by the helpless people.
