Whether the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is increasing or decreasing in March will be known today (Monday, March 3).
The new LPG price for one month will be announced today.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced this information in a notification on Sunday. The decision to adjust the price of private LPG at the consumer level according to the Saudi CP announced by Saudi Aramco will be announced at 3 pm today.
On February 2, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder was increased by Tk 19 to Tk 1,478. In January, the price of LPG was kept unchanged. However, on January 14, the price of a 12-kg cylinder was revised up by Tk 4 to Tk 1,459.
In addition, today's announcement will also announce the price of autogas. On February 2, the price of autogas per liter was increased by 89 paise to Tk 67.74.
At the beginning of January, the price of autogas was reduced by 3 paise to 66.79 taka. In addition, on January 14, the price of autogas was increased by 49 paise to 67.27 taka, and on January 22, it was reduced by 42 paise to 66.85 taka.
LPG and autogas prices were reduced four times and increased seven times in 2024. Prices remained unchanged in December, but increased several times from January to October, and prices were reduced in April, May, June, and November.
