Nurul Islam bought them along with the machinery and started production with just 22 workers. He started everything by himself, designing, buying raw materials, and producing. Currently, his son ASM Rafiqul Islam has taken over the organization, but Nurul Islam still leads from behind as an advisor.
The journey of Noman Group began in 1987 and Jaber & Jobair Fabrics was established in 2000, when they started exporting products to the international market. They currently export clothing for the world's leading brands, such as IKEA, Target, GAP, J.C. Penney, Tesco, Corrosion, Mango, Nike, Walmart, GCC Penny, Disney And many more.

A major reason behind the success of Noman Group is the quality of their products and their constant focus on the export market. Their products include Bed sheet, Bedsheet and other home textile products. Their first export in 2000 was $6.5 million worth of bed sheets.
