Joint forces have arrested bandit leader Abdul Quddus with firearms.
He was handed over to Chhatak Police Station in Sunamganj on Saturday.
Kudduch is the son of Idaz Ullah of Haiderpur village in Bhatgaon union of Chhatak upazila.
A joint force comprising 42 Bir (Bear) soldiers of the 11th Infantry Division and police conducted a raid in Haiderpur village of Chhatak early on Saturday and arrested Quddus.
At that time, a firearm (pipe gun) and several domestic weapons were recovered from his custody.
On Saturday night, the duty officer of Chhatak Police Station said that several robbery cases, including another weapons case, are pending in court against Kudduch.
