The leaders of the Nischa Upazila branch exchanged views with the Upazila Executive Officer and the OC of the police station on the occasion of the arrival of Nischa Chairman Elias Kanchan in Paikgachha. The Nischa Upazila branch has organized a student-teacher rally at Kapilmuni Bazar Dhanya Chattar on February 11 to prevent road accidents. The founder and chairman of the organization, Chitra Nayak Elias Kanchan, will be present as the chief guest at the rally. In order to make Elias Kanchan's rally a success, the Nischa leaders exchanged views with Upazila Executive Officer Mahera Naznin and the OC of the police station Sabzel Hossain on Monday morning. Present at the event were NISCHA President HM Shafiul Islam, Senior Vice President Journalist Md. Abdul Aziz, General Secretary Ilias Hossain, Journalists SM Alauddin Sohag, N Islam Sagar, Abul Hashem, Advocate Akramul Biswas, Abu Hurayra Badsha, Lecturers S Rohtab Uddin, Farizul Islam, Sirajul Islam, Rocky and other leaders of NISCHA at various levels. Upazila Executive Officer Mahera Nazneen will preside over the rally. Teachers and students of all educational institutions in the upazila will participate. NISCHA central and local leaders will speak.
Saraswati Puja was held in various educational institutions in Paikgachha with various arrangements including worshipping the goddess and distributing prasad. On this occasion, worshipping the goddess and distributing prasad was organized at Universal Education School on Monday morning. Present at the event were the school's headmaster Pradeep Sarkar, vice-president of the press club Md. Abdul Aziz, guardians Dipankar Mandal, Brindavan Dutta, Ranu Mandal, teachers Atish Kanti Sarkar, Tapas Bairagi, Pulkesh Mandal, Prabhavati Swarnakar, Shiuli Biswas, Anjali Mukherjee, Sadia Haque, Farhana Ferdous, students Puja Mandal and Athi Das. The worship was performed by priest Bipul Chakraborty. In addition, Saraswati Puja was held in various educational institutions including Shaheed Zia Girls' School.
