Niamatpur (Naogaon) Correspondent: A human chain and protest meeting was held in front of the upazila gate at 11 am on Tuesday (today) at the initiative of Niamatpur Towhidi Janata demanding an end to the obscene procession at the Naogaon Niamatpur Upazila Prem Gosai Mela.
The meeting was chaired by the Ameer of the Jamaat of Srimantapur Union, Shahidul Islam, and was addressed by the former Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mainul Islam Minu, General Secretary of the Jamaat of Srimantapur Union, Mamnul Alam, General Secretary of the Upazila National Ulama Council, Golam Hossain, Khatib of Biljowalia Jamaat Mosque, Hazrat Maulana Minhajul Islam, Khatib of the Upazila Bazar Jamaat Mosque, and others.
