Begum Firoza Quader Mollah College authorities have distributed free college uniforms and books to freshmen in Nalchit, Jhalakathi.
A distribution ceremony of new books and uniforms has been organized at the college auditorium today, Monday (February 3) at 10 am among all the students admitted to this new institution in the Suryapasha area of the upazila.
Nalchiti Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nazrul Islam was present as the chief guest of the event. Nalchiti Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Abdus Salam, Upazila BNP President Anisur Rahman Khan Helal, President of the Document Writers Association, eminent educationist and founder of the college Adv. Md. Mizanur Rahman Mollah were present as special guests.
The program was presided over by Md. Shamsul Alam Khan Bahar, known as one of the prominent people of Nalchiti Upazila and the acting principal of the college.
At this time, all the admitted students and their parents were seen excited about this innovative initiative. As a result, the poor students admitted to the college did not have to go through the hassle of buying new books and college uniforms. As a result, the new students said that they will be able to start their studies with full enthusiasm at the beginning of the year with new books and new clothes.
