Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent a letter of greetings to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. In the letter, he wished Khaleda Zia good health.
BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan informed the media on Sunday (February 2). Shairul said the letter was sent from the Pakistan Embassy to the BNP Chairperson's office this afternoon.
In a letter to Khaleda Zia on January 31, Shehbaz Sharif wrote, "I am concerned to learn about your (Khaleda Zia) health problems."
Wishing you well, he wrote, "I wish you good health and well-being. May Almighty Allah protect you from all illnesses and grant you good health."
In the letter, Shehbaz also assured that Pakistan stands with the BNP chairperson, her family, and the party's supporters.
Referring to Khaleda Zia's political and colorful life in the letter, the Pakistani Prime Minister also wrote, "You are a huge figure in the political scene of Bangladesh. Your steadfast commitment to public service has been an inspiration to many."
