Shahjahan, a clerical teacher of the admission branch at Bairati Alim Madrasa in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh district, took advantage of the opportunity to resort to corruption and made fake papers claiming to be the principal, and got the principal's MPO from the Madrasa Education Department in the MPO of December 2024. When I went to the Ishwarganj Upazila Secondary Education Office to get information, the real information came out. Shahjahan did not apply for MPO registration on the online server. Although Shahjahan's name appeared in the MPO in November 2024 with a salary of 32490/(Thirty-two thousand Taka) under the 9-code! There is widespread discussion and criticism everywhere about the MPO registration of Shahjahan's principal. The madrasa was founded in 1960 by (Aliye Kamil Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Muhammad Hossain Ali Rahmatullahi Alaihi. In the past, the newspaper published the story of Shahjahan, an assistant cleric teacher at the madrasa, becoming the principal by showing fake papers, which caused a lot of discussion in the area. It is known from the news that Md. Shahjahan was previously appointed to the vacant post of cleric teacher Md. Sultan Uddin in this madrasa (of the admission branch) in 1994. Shahjahan has been promoted to a higher scale from the cleric teacher position several times. He is drawing a salary allowance of twenty-two thousand taka. However, the surprising thing is that he concealed the information by making fake papers and showing the post of Principal and got the name of Principal from the Madrasa Education Department in June 2020. However, according to the regulations of private educational institutions, to get appointed as Principal of Alim Madrasa, there is a rule that one must have the qualification of Arabic lecturer or be the superintendent of another Madrasa (Dakhil), but Shahjahan does not have it. At that time, Shahjahan was widely criticized in the area for this. The people of the area believe that Shahjahan is creating various disorders in the madrasa by strategizing to cover up irregularities. In addition, there is no accounting of the income and expenditure of the madrasa. Lakhs of taka are being spent without vouchers. On the other hand, the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Ministry of Education; Technical and Madrasa Education Department, Madrasa Branch-2 dated 5-February 2018, 57.00.0000.085.27.03.2018-65, sent a letter to the Director General of the Madrasa Education Department to suspend the MPO of Shahjahan's principal. The locals demand that a thorough investigation will reveal the matter of Shahjahan becoming the principal. Only then will the reputation of the madrasa be saved. Moreover, Shahjahan did not distribute all the tuition fees provided by the government among the teachers last year, but grabbed all of them. When the teachers asked him, he got angry and said, "What do you know?" He is also trying to lobby for the formation of a committee in a very clever way. Due to Shahjahan's corruption and irregularities, the madrasa is deteriorating day by day. The Madrasa Board canceled the committee for illegally forming the committee in the past. Later, he filed a case in the High Court. Repetition No. 8304/2016. The case was closed. Although Shahjahan was contacted several times on these issues, no statement was received from him. A madrasa principal who did not want to be named said that Shahjahan, a teacher of the Dakhil branch, is not qualified to be a principal. An investigation will reveal the picture of his corruption and irregularities! When asked about this, the Upazila Secondary Education Officer told the representative that Shahjahan did not apply for MPO registration on the online server.
