Ataur Rahman Kawsar, Sylhet :: Four people, including a mother and son, were killed in a head-on collision between a stone-laden truck and a private car while traveling from Dhaka to Sylhet. The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in the Unish Mile area of Osmaninagar upazila at around 7:30 am on Sunday. The deceased were Saima Akhter (35), her son Ayan (7), Saima's sister Shamima Yasmin (38) and cousin Sohel Bhuiyan (40) of Ashulia area near Savar in Dhaka. The deceased Sohel was a resident of Mograpara village in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj. The injured were Zahed Hasan (29), Sabina (37) and Sunaira (2).
