To bring order on the roads, buses of 21 companies plying from Abdullahpur to various destinations in the capital will be operated on a ticket counter basis, announced Dhaka Road Transport Owners Association General Secretary Md. Saiful Alam. He said that the ticket counter-based bus operation will be inaugurated next Thursday (February 6). About 2,610 buses will ply on this route. All the buses will be of the same color (pink). No one will be able to board these buses without a ticket. It will not be possible to get on or off the bus anywhere. He made this announcement at a press conference organized at the organization's office on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in the capital today. Out of these, 14 brick kilns are operating in one ward of that union without any other legality, including environmental clearance. The homeowner was injured when the robbers stabbed him in the incident.
