A one and a half year old child drowned in water!
A child named Nahid Mia died after drowning in water while visiting various houses in Sylhet. The one-and-a-half-year-old child died after drowning in a pond next to a house in Joykals village of Shantiganj on Monday afternoon. Nahid is the child of Farhad Mia of Joykals village of Shantiganj. Ward No. 4 UP member of Joykals union of Shantiganj, Mochku Mia, confirmed the death of the child. Family sources of the deceased child said that Nahid fell into the pond while the family was playing in the courtyard of a house in Joykals village of the upazila.
