Ujirpur Barisal Correspondent: The body of a missing fisherman was recovered from a trawler in Barisal on the night of December 31. The body was recovered from the Mollar Hat area of Kedarpur Union in Babuganj Upazila, the confluence of three rivers in Barisal, said Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin. The trawler fisherman is Mahbub Howlader (52). He is the son of Sekandar Howlader of Paschim Mundapasha village in Shikarpur Union in Ujirpur Upazila. Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin said that the missing fisherman Mahbub Howlader was kidnapped from a trawler on the night of January 31. He has not been found since then.
