Osmaninagar Correspondent: It has been reported that the relatives of the Upazila Awami League Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Sajjadur Rahman were kidnapped from the police in Osmaninagar. The incident took place at around 11:30 pm on Sunday at Sajjadur Rahman's house in Rautkhai village of Usmanpur union of the upazila. It is learnt that a team led by Osmaninagar Police Station SI Bishnu Pad Roy searched Sajjadur Rahman's house at night and tried to arrest the accused named in the complaint and bring him to the police station, but the people of the area, including the woman of the house, gathered and blocked them. Masum Parvez Rangpur: Surbhi, a ninth-grade student, committed suicide out of pride after her father was unable to pay her. The tragic incident took place on Monday afternoon in Chatua village of Tukuria union in Pirganj upazila. The deceased Surbhi was a student of Chatua Madrasa.
