Utfal Barua, Sylhet Bureau On the occasion of Sri Sri Saraswati Puja in Sylhet, Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Rezaul Karim, PPM-Seba, visited various puja mandapams in the metropolitan area on Monday, February 3. Honorable DIG of Sylhet Range Md. Mushfequr Rahman was present at the time. The Police Commissioner and Range DIG and other officials exchanged greetings and cordiality with the members of the puja celebration committee and the devotees present on the occasion of the puja. They observed the overall security arrangements of the puja mandapams and exchanged greetings with the traditional religious visitors who came there. Nure Alam Siddiqui, General Secretary Mokarul Islam and Organizing Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Mamun have been elected as the President of the Chawla Union BNP in Pirgachha, Rangpur.
