Devotees have started coming to the Bishwa Zaker Manzil in Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur for the four-day Urs of Maulana Shah Sufi Khaja Baba Faridpuri (K.C.A). On Friday (February 14), lakhs of people participated in the Jumma prayers at Bishwa Zaker Manzil.
The Oras will have overnight accommodations and parking spaces for various vehicles, with additional security.
The Urs will officially begin after Fajr prayers on Saturday (February 15).
Tents have been set up across several kilometers of the area on the occasion of Urs. Lakhs of Asheqans and Zakerans are gathering there by road and water from different parts of the country and abroad. A press conference was organized by Darbar Sharif on Friday afternoon on the occasion of Urs.
Shahidul Islam Shahin, coordinator of the Bishwa Zaker Manzil Workers Group, said that the Urs ceremonies will begin after Fajr prayers on Saturday with the recitation of Fateha Sharif and the observance of Tariqat rituals.
Every day, along with the obligatory prayers, Quran recitation, zikir azgar, moraqaba-mosaheda, waz nasihat, waz mahfil and sunnat worship, voluntary worship will be continued. All preparations have been completed to successfully organize the Urs with due religious solemnity. A large number of devotees and followers from home and abroad will participate in this year's Urs.
In addition to its own volunteer force, members of law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies are deployed for security. There is also a watch tower.
Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, the Faridpur head of the Bishwa Zaker Manzil workers' group, said that like every year, this year too, numerous Ashekans-Zakerans and religious people are attending the Bishwa Zaker Manzil Darbar Sharif. Arrangements for Tabarak, overnight accommodation and parking spaces for various vehicles have been made for everyone coming for the Urs. Additional measures have been taken for security.
He said that Pirzada Mahfuzul Haque Mujaddidi, the successor of World Awli Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Khajababa Faridpuri (Q.S.A.) Keblajan Saheb, will meet the Asheqan Zakerans on all four days during the Urs.
The Shah Sufi Faridpuri (Q.S.A) Rawza shrine will be visited after Fajr prayers on Tuesday (February 18). The four-day Urs will then end with a final prayer for world peace.
