Regarding the prices of daily necessities around the upcoming Ramadan, BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas said, "Prices of daily necessities have risen again ahead of Ramadan. Even though the government has changed, the syndicate has not changed."
Mirza Abbas said that BNP is ready for the elections at the time given by the interim government. However, different political parties are making different statements about the elections to confuse the government.
He made these remarks at the inauguration of the primary membership renewal program of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP at the party's central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Friday afternoon.
Mirza Abbas said, "Just 10 loyal workers will do. Thousands of people are not needed. It is necessary to be careful and conscious when renewing the party. Those who are involved in fascism or misdeeds cannot be made party members."
Mirza Abbas also said that if people from other political parties default on loans, no action can be taken against them, it is all the fault of BNP. Other political parties have used BNP's name to cover up their own faults and make accusations. They cannot be given any more concessions.
