Three youths riding a motorcycle were seriously injured after an unidentified bus hit them in Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur. The accident occurred on Wednesday (February 12) at around 7 pm, in front of Suyadi CCBL petrol pump in Algi Union of Bhanga Upazila on the Dhaka-Gopalganj highway.
Locals quickly rescued the injured and admitted them to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
How did the accident happen?
Sergeant Chhami of Bhanga Highway Police Station said that an unidentified bus heading from Dhaka to Gopalganj hit the motorcycle, causing the three young men on board to be thrown off and seriously injured.
The bus quickly left the scene immediately after the accident, as a result of which it has not yet been possible to identify the driver or the vehicle.
Police action and investigation
Police have already inspected the scene and are working to find the bus.
