Nuruzzaman Kafi, a content creator who advocates for the July Movement and speaks on various issues on social media, is quite upset after his house was burnt to ashes in a fire in Kalapara, Patuakhali. He has called journalists to his burnt house in the incident. He has called for a press conference there.
Calling journalists on Wednesday (February 12) morning, he posted a status on social media Facebook.
In his status, he called on journalists from the district to be present at his burnt-down house under Kalapara police station in Patuakhali at 11 am today.
There he wrote, 'I will give a big message to this irresponsible government. Accept the message completely, or I myself will be the alternative - I will be the revolutionary government.'
Earlier, the fire broke out at a house in Rajpara village of Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali at around 1:30 am on Tuesday. Later, a team of Kalapara Fire Service reached the spot and brought the fire under control after about two hours of efforts. Kafir's father Maulana Md. ABM Habibur Rahman said that the fire caused a loss of about 50 lakh taka, including cash and gold ornaments. However, the administration could not confirm who started the fire.
