A result exhibition of Uddipan seed potatoes was held at Khetlal in Joypurhat. The result exhibition and field training workshop were held at the Borail Union Parishad premises of the upazila at 5 pm on February 9.
It is reported that in the current season, the seed potato of Uddipan Agro Limited Company is being sold by the local seed dealer Itakhola Bazar Anir Bija Bhandar, Proprietor Shajahan Ali Mollah through Numna Swarup seed potato. The potato farmers who planted the seeds have now started harvesting them from the land. The dealer invited the general potato farmers of the area to display the results of Uddipan Potato and organize a field training workshop.
Potato farmer Azad said, "The quality of the potato seeds is good. I hope that farmers will benefit if they plant Uddip's potato seeds in the future."
The event, moderated by Jasimuddin, President of Borail Union Krishak Dal, was attended by Uddipan Agro Limited's Head of Business, Agriculturist SM Abdul Mukit as the chief guest. Prominent businessman Titas was the special guest.
Bogra and Rangpur Regional Sales Manager Roni Chowdhury, Distribution Manager Dilip Islam, Khetlal Uddipan Branch Manager Jasimuddin.
Also present at the event were Khetlal Press Club General Secretary Hasan Ali and journalist Abdur Razzak, along with more than two hundred local farmers.
