Agricultural Technology Exhibition Fair under the Tekshai Agricultural Extension Project of Jessore Region. With the aim of building a new Bangladesh, a three-day agricultural technology fair is being held in Sharsha Upazila of Jessore on the occasion of the Youth Festival 2025. This fair is being organized by the Upazila Parishad Chattar.
The agricultural fair, which was held at the Chattar ground on Monday, February 10 at 11 am, showcased technology. The fair was inaugurated by the chief guest of the event, Sharsha Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Dr. Kazi Najib Hasan.
Under the Sustainable Agriculture Extension Project in Jessore region, the Upazila Administration and the Department of Agricultural Extension organized an agricultural technology fair. About 15 stalls of government and private organizations participated in the agricultural technology exhibition, including family nutrition gardens, vermicompost production, farm machinery, modern varieties of rice and agricultural product processing. This fair will continue on February 13. A colorful rally was taken out.
The discussion meeting was presided over by Deepak Kumar Saha, the agricultural officer of Sharsha Upazila, who is in charge of the overall management of the fair.
Among others, Sharsha Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Shawkat Mehdi was present as a special guest on the discussion stage.
Present at the event were Upazila Fisheries Officer Palash Bala, Animal Resources Officer Tapu Kumar Saha, Agriculture Officer Gautam Kumar, Women Affairs Officer Jahani Gulshan and Rural Power Department Deputy General Manager Debashish Bhattacharya along with various government, private sector officials and employees and ordinary farmers. After the inauguration, the chief guest took everyone to tour the various stalls of the fair and talked to the farmers.
The agricultural official said that agricultural entrepreneurs in various categories among the participants in the agricultural fair will be awarded at the end of the fair.
