A person was arrested with Yaba tablets in a special operation by Lohagara Police Station OC Ashikur Rahman of Narail. A Yaba dealer named Md. Islam Sheikh (21) has been arrested by Lohagara Police Station of Narail. The arrested Md. Islam Sheikh (21) is the son of Md. Alam Sheikh of Naora village under Lohagara Police Station of Narail.
Ujjwal Roy, District Representative from Narail, said that he was arrested on Sunday (February 9) afternoon from the paved road leading to Dhaka-Narail in front of Lakshipasha Molya field under Lohagara Municipality. Based on a secret tip-off, SI (retd) Md. Masudur Rahman, ASI (retd) Md. Ruhul Amin, along with a team of police officers, under the supervision of Officer-in-Charge Md. Ashikur Rahman of Lohagara Police Station, Narail, conducted a drive and arrested Md. Islam Sheikh (21). At that time, twenty pieces of illegal drugs, Yaba tablets, were seized from the arrested accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Lohagara Police Station in this regard.
The accused has been handed over to the learned court. Under the direction of Narail District Police Superintendent Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, the district police is working sincerely to build a free Narail.
