A seminar titled "Build a Marketer: Empowering Future Leaders in Marketing" was organized by the Business and Career Club at Bangladesh Maritime University. The seminar was held at the university's auditorium today from 2 pm.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Rear Admiral Ashraful Haque Chowdhury, was present as the chief guest at the event. Fahim Rahman Konik, CEO of TransformBD, Nasir Ahmed, COO of BFC, Islam Tarek, Head of Marketing of Rupayan Group, Fakhrul Aman Faisal, Director of Cinematize Pictures, Md. Shakil Basar, Founder of Fashion Brand Alzeena, and Namah Al Rabbi, B2B Growth Lead of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, were also present as speakers.
At the event, speakers discussed their experiences and professional skills, as well as current market needs, challenges, and opportunities, and advised students to prepare for the future.
The seminar also discussed digital marketing, real estate, film production, fashion, healthcare, and entrepreneurship development. The speakers shared their practical experiences in their respective fields and provided important guidance on career development.
Speaking as the chief guest, Vice Chancellor of the university, Rear Admiral Ashraful Haque Chowdhury, appreciated the students for such an event. He said that such an event will play an important role in giving students an idea of the challenges and opportunities of the real world and will create a bridge between academic education and professional skills. Through this event, students will be able to learn career preparation, the importance of networking and strategies for continuous improvement of professional skills. This education will help them cope with the complexities of the workplace and move forward on the path to success.
Thanking everyone who attended the seminar organized by the Bangladesh Maritime University Business and Career Club and in collaboration with Transform BD, club president Khurshidul Alam Shanto said that such seminars will be organized for students in the future as well, so that they can gain a better understanding of their careers and current business trends.
