Renowned writer and researcher Anwar Shahjahan's ninth book, "Apekshar Prohor", is now available at the National Book Fair. The book has been published by Etki Book Publishing and is available at Pavilion 19 of the fair.
Anwar Shahjahan has previously published six important books on the history and research of the Liberation War in Bengali and English. His books on the Liberation War have been appreciated by the readers as rich sources of history and research.
The new storybook "The Hour of Waiting" presents a vivid picture of the social and human changes in Bangladesh during the Liberation War and post-independence. The author said that the book is based on interviews with freedom fighters, their family experiences and historical events. Some stories have been added in local languages, which will bring readers closer to reality.
