Srimangal (Moulvibazar), 08 February 2025: In order to accelerate legal aid activities, Mahbub Reza, President of Bangladesh Tea Estate Staff Association, has been appointed as a member of the Legal Aid Special Committee of the Sylhet Labor Court.
Sylhet Labor Court Chairman (District and Sessions Judge) Nurul Alam Mohammad Nipu has issued an office order regarding the formation of this 18-member committee in accordance with 3(2) of the National Legal Aid Organization (Labor Court Committee Formation, Responsibilities, Functions, etc.) Regulations-2016.
The Chairman of the Labor Court, Sylhet, will serve as the ex-officio chairman of this committee.
This committee shall perform all the duties and functions assigned by the Chairman of the Labor Court (Sylhet) in accordance with the relevant laws, rules and regulations. The term of the said committee shall be valid for the next 3 (three) years from the date of nomination.
