In Kusumba Union, Manda Upazila, Naogaon Man beaten up by rival after visiting in-laws' house

The incident took place at around 11 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at a place called Deluabari Chakgopal Madhyapara in the upazila. Later, Sohel Rana, Mosa, Banesa Begum, and Habiba Jannat were rescued by local residents and admitted to the Manda Upazila Health Complex in their injured condition. According to local residents and complaints, Habiba Jannat was married to Alep Uddin Pranamanik of Deluabari Chakgopal Madhyapara in Kusumba Union of the upazila 7 years ago, with Sohel Rana of Gabtoli village in Niamatpur upazila. Since the marriage, Alep Uddin Prang has been in conflict with a married neighbor, Jasim Uddin, Jahurul Islam (Koshi), Dulal (Dulu), Sajedul Sajal, and Mukul, his son-in-law. As a result of this conflict, a total of 5 people, including son-in-law Sohel Rana, were injured in a fight at 11 am yesterday, Saturday. His son-in-law's head was broken in the fight, and the injured party also looted and looted the house and shop. Later, his relatives admitted him to the hospital in an injured condition.
After being admitted to the Manda Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty referred the injured to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment. In this regard, the accused opponents Jasim Uddin and Zahurul Islam (Koshi), people have denied the allegations and his people said that no beating took place here, they know that everything is false. In this regard, the officer-in-charge of Manda Police Station, OC Mansur Rahman, said, I have heard verbally, but so far I have not received any complaint. Necessary action will be taken if a complaint is received.
