Hill Adviser Ambassador (retd) Supradeep Chakma said, "I want quality education and livelihood development for the people of the Hill Region." The advisor commented that it is important to build a basic foundation for the people of the Hill Region.
Hill Adviser Ambassador (retd) Supradeep Chakma made this comment at the Dhaka University Hill Alumni Association 2025 celebration program at Ranga Base Camp in Jarulchhari Para, Balukhali Union, Rangamati Sadar on Friday (February 7).
The advisor further said, "First we have to become economically self-reliant. We have to learn religious, social, and charity issues from home. We see the results of this in the 36th July Movement. We have to work for the society and the state. Development and economic prosperity are our thoughts, consciousness, and dreams. We cannot afford to be left behind. We have to be pioneers."
Regarding the alumni, the advisor said, "I studied at Dhaka University 45 years ago and that is why I came to the Rangamati alumni program." Many DU students came here, the advisor expressed gratitude and congratulations to all. The advisor said, "Many students of Dhaka University were killed and injured in the July 36 movement." On behalf of the Dhaka University Hill Alumni Association, he thanked the entrepreneurs who raised money for the treatment of the injured.
At this time, Advisor Supradeep Chakma unveiled a special commemorative plaque called Kaljayee. Later, the advisor and guests enjoyed a cultural program performed by local artists from the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
