Three people were arrested in a raid by the DB police in Narail, along with Yaba tablets and marijuana. The Narail District Detective Branch Police has arrested a person named Abu Bakr alias Shah Alam (24) for drug dealing. The arrested Abu Bakr alias Shah Alam (24) is the son of Md. Billal Hossain of Aichpara (Uttarpara) under Naragati police station in Narail district.
Ujjwal Roy, District Representative from Narail, said that on Thursday (January), he was arrested on the paved road in front of the accused's house on the west side of Aichpara intersection in Aichpara (Uttarpara) village of Ward No. 8 of Kalabaria Union under Naragati Police Station, Narail. Based on a secret information, under the supervision of Narail District Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM), SI (retd) Md. Titu Ali, ASI (retd) Md. Kamruzzaman and ASIs (retd) Sheikh Kamruzzaman, along with a joint force, conducted a drive and arrested Abu Bakar alias Shah Alam (24). At that time, four hundred grams of narcotics, ganja, were seized from the arrested accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Narail Sadar Police Station in this regard.
The accused have been handed over to the learned court. On the other hand, two people were arrested with forty (40) pieces of Yaba tablets in Narail DB. Narail District Detective Branch Police have arrested two drug dealers named Md. Kazi Nazrul Islam (48) and Mridul Sikder (42). The arrested Md. Kazi Nazrul Islam (48) is the son of Azizur Rahman of Chanchra village under Sadar police station of Narail district and Mridul Sikder (42) is the son of Amulya Sikder of Maliat village under the same police station. They were arrested on the paved road in front of Sajjad Huzur's tea shop at Chanpur intersection of Banshgram Union No. 11 under Narail Sadar police station on February 5, 2025 at around 20:05 pm. Based on a secret information, SI (retd) Jahangir Alam, under the supervision of District Intelligence Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM), conducted a drive along with the Sangyi force and arrested Md. Kazi Nazrul Islam (48) and Mridul Sikder (42). At that time, illegal narcotics, forty pieces of Yaba tablets, were seized from the arrested accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Narail Sadar Police Station in this regard. The accused has been handed over to the learned court.
