The National School-Madrasa and Technical Education Winter (Sports Competition-Final and Prize Distribution) was held in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh district. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ershadul Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the event on February 6 (Thursday). Among others, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Ashraful Islam, Upazila Academic Supervisor were present. Also present were the heads of various school-madrasa institutions and sports teachers of the upazila. On the other hand, at the beginning of the prize distribution among the winners of the sports event at the local playground in Ishwarganj, the chief guest UNO Md. Ershadul Ahmed said in his speech that if students participate in sports, there will be no opportunity to consume drugs and get addicted to mobile phones. A healthy new generation of young students will be developed in Bangladesh. After the game, prizes were distributed among the winners. A special aspect of the prize distribution was that along with other prizes, Upazila Executive Officer Ershadul Ahmed, on behalf of the Upazila administration, presented the Holy Quran Sharif to all the winning players for Muslim students and the Gita to those of traditional religion.
