He has alleged that in recent times, Rampura Thana Jubo Dal convener Kamal Ahmed Dulu, with the aim of establishing sole dominance, ambushed and seriously injured Md. Rubel Haque Bishu Vypari, the organizing secretary of Ward No. 23 BNP under North Rampura Thana in Dhaka Metropolitan City, with his cadre force.
The incident took place on Sunday, February 3 at around 8 pm in front of a meat shop next to Rupali Club on Malibagh Bazar Road in the capital. On the orders of Kamal Ahmed Dulu, Dim Mona, Talat, Kerechcha Alam, Masum Khan and 4/5 other unidentified people carried out the incident. Dulu's terrorists fled after injuring Bedar with a knife, chapati, and GI Priep. At one point in the incident, Bishu Bapari fell to the ground and the local people admitted him to the hospital.
On October 9, 24, Kamal Ahmed Dulu and his men tried to occupy the capital's Khilgaon Taltola Market with their own cadre force, and Dulu's men hacked several local BNP and Chhatra Dal leaders and activists with machetes. In that incident, a person named Asaduzzaman Ripon (36) filed an extortion case at Khilgaon Police Station, making Dulu the 18th accused in the case and 150 people, including 40 others, as unknown accused.
Several local BNP leaders, who did not want to be named, said that even if there are instructions from the BNP high command, no leader or activist can open a party office centered on an individual. But Kamal Ahmed Dulu himself disobeyed the high command and opened a Jubo Dal office in Taltala Market. Kamal Ahmed Dulu has been involved in various crimes, including extortion from shops and sidewalks, which is tarnishing the image of BNP day after day. In this situation, there is pent-up anger and resentment among leaders and activists at all levels of all BNP organizations in Rampura police station.
When asked about such allegations, a top BNP leader said, "If any BNP leader tries to bring in those who have been in the Awami League for the past 15 years and make them join BNP, strict action will be taken against them." Tarique Rahman said, "If anyone tries to extort money in the name of BNP, they will be expelled from the party. If anyone tarnishes the image of the party, strict action will also be taken against them." This has been repeatedly warned by the BNP. If party leaders and activists are involved in wrongdoing, strict action will be taken against them.
When asked about the matter by the injured victim, Md. Rubel Haque Bishu, the Organizing Secretary of Ward 23 BNP under Rampura Police Station, he said, "I am the Organizing Secretary of Ward 23 BNP under Rampura Police Station. When the Awami League of the tyrannical Sheikh Hasina was in power, I was accused in 116 cases, I could not stay at home for 17 days in 17 years. I have served time in jail for years. I have accepted how much torture and oppression I have suffered, which cannot be finished by telling you. The sad thing is that even though the party did not come to power, now we are independent and can move freely. My political guide, my leader, the acting chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman, has strict instructions that no extortion or occupation can be done in the area and no one can be allowed to do so. While I am walking on that path, today I am being tortured and oppressed."
On February 1, 25, when Rampura Thana Jubo Dal convener Kamal Ahmed Dulu went to occupy the CNG stand opposite the Malibagh Committee Center with leaders and activists of the ousted Awami League, Jubo League and the banned organization Chhatra League, I blocked him. On February 3, he found me alone in front of a meat shop next to the Rupali Club on Malibagh Bazar Road and carried out this brutal attack on me with his cadre force.
When my younger brother Sajjat Haque Rocky went to Rampura Police Station to file a case against Dulu, Rampura Police Station OC Md. Ataur asked him to file the case without Dulu's name and requested them to work together. Later, he filed the case with the names of Dimmona, Talat, Kerechcha Alam, Masum Khan and 4/5 other unidentified people.
In this regard, Rampura Police Station OC Ataur Rahman said, "We have named the names of those named in the plaintiff's statement, but no accused has been caught so far."
Regarding the allegations, Kamal Ahmed Dulu said, "I will be conducting councilor elections in the future, but a group is spreading misinformation against me."
