BNP has held a protest march in Rangabali, Patuakhali, protesting against the attempts to destabilize Bangladesh by making provocative statements while Sheikh Hasina fled to India. The march started from the intersection of the upazila headquarters on Thursday evening.
On the instructions of BNP's Central Training Affairs Secretary ABM Mosharraf Hossain, BNP and its affiliated organizations led by Upazila BNP President Abdur Rahman Farazi and Acting General Secretary Harun Or Rashid took out the procession. Later, they circled the main road and held a road meeting at the intersection.
The rally protested the attack on Kuakata Municipality Youth Party member secretary and Bangla Vision journalist Zahirul Islam Miron. The speakers demanded the immediate identification and arrest of the attackers.
At the roadshow, Upazila BNP President Abdur Rahman Faraji said, "The dictator Sheikh Hasina has fled to India. But sitting in India, she is still conspiring against the country. Due to Sheikh Hasina's provocative statements, the Awami League is trying to create anarchy in Bangladesh. BNP is always on the field to resist them. The BNP leader warned that any attempt to create anarchy will be met with a befitting reply."
BNP leaders expressed their happiness at the meeting that three BNP leaders have been invited to the 'National Prayer Breakfast' in the United States.
