The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka and sent a protest note to Hasina, a murderer who is in India and is on trial for crimes against humanity after fleeing the student uprising. Dhaka has requested Delhi to stop Hasina.
Md. Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the interim government, gave this information during a discussion with journalists on Thursday.
The foreign affairs advisor said, "We have requested India in writing to restrain Sheikh Hasina, so that she does not make such statements - which are against Bangladesh. We have not received any response yet."
He further said, "We have given them another protest note today due to their activities in the last few days. We called the acting ambassador and gave the protest note and we have again requested that he be stopped."
